ALL OF OUR HALFPIPES COME WITH A CUSTOM MADE PVC WATERPROOF COVER

Weatherproofing your Mini Ramp is the most important part of the whole process and is vital that it is taken into account. Especially for the wet rainy season in Cape Town and the Western Cape.

That is why our Mini Ramps come with custom made PVC covers. We use a high quality wood sealer on the skate surface and transitions. We seal all the exposed plywood edges of the ramp. Then we also seal the top decks of the ramp where you stand on. Also, the final layer of ply that you skate on is the very highest quality, WBP (Marine grade) Long grain Birch plywood. This is also treated with a timber sealer. Remember, timber sealer does not make your ramp waterproof, only a cover will do that!

Nothing beats a proper cover when the ramp is not in use. You can use a cheap tarp, but they perish quickly. That is why we use PVC.

What kills a Mini Ramp the quickest is not just the rain, but the constant dew every night and most of all, the SUN. It is vital that the ramp is covered after EVERY use.

Indoor Mini Ramps

Indoor Mini Ramps do not require weatherproofing, therefore we will deduct the price of the cover from the total cost.
